He explained all the details of the activity very well and we were off to the basket boat!
Our boat rider was a really kind and fun lady by the name of Vu (apologies if I spell it wrong), she made the experience one to be remembered!! She made us laugh constantly, let us row the basket boat couple times and also took some pics of us!!

Then we arrived to a little boat-office where you can get couple pictures with a professional camera printed for a fee, then we saw a local vietnamese basket boat rider spin his boat to the music at an incredible speed!!

We also witnessed a local fisherman showing his skills with the fishing net and learnt how to catch crabs by the river shore (you let them loose after catching them to protect the local fauna, although we were not lucky catching them).

Then we headed back to the starting point after around a little more than 1 hour of activity, Pu made the boat ride real fun with jokes and laughs, even singing few songs. She even spinned the boat for us!!

As the drop off back to wherever you are staying is included, Vu gives you the choice of being dropped off anywhere you want in Hoi An, so if your plan was to go to the beach or to a reastaurant for some grilled seafood you can do! Nice touch!!

It’s a small business, we got to meet the owners and they were very friendly and appreciative of our business,... read more it makes you feel at home. The prices were also great and the service was top notch. I suggest doing this tour instead of the big companies out there. The price is up front and they warn you that if you want additional activities at the river it will be extra and outside of this tour( People work independently to do the additional activities) this is a must do! They also have clean bathrooms and really good coffee And cold drinks!
